But, here is the scandal of the gospel:  “While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us on the cross.”  Not one of us here merits God’s love and forgiveness but nevertheless, God comes through with his Amazing Grace!  We are not called to hoard it or make it exclusively our own, but to share it with all the world because “God so loved the world…”
