A Specific Kind of Distress

KirkWood Food Kupboard

KirkWood has a small free food pantry to support those in our local community. This pantry is called the KirkWood Food Kupboard and is located outside of the church near the front of the building.  This Kupboard offers non-perishable food/grocery items to those in need: “take what you need, leave what you can”. All are welcome to visit our Kupboard at any time.

Should anyone find needs greater than what our Kupboard can offer, please feel free to visit the following organizations for additional assistance.

About KirkWood

Welcome to KirkWood Church, a vibrant Presbyterian (U.S.A.) congregation that was founded in 1987. We are nestled in the heart of historic Hampton Roads, surrounded by beautiful cities like Yorktown, Poquoson, Hampton, and Newport News. Our community is filled with passionate members who are actively involved in all aspects of community life. We are a proud member of the Presbytery of Eastern Virginia, and we welcome everyone who is looking for a place to worship, learn, work, and play together.

Whether you are a seeker, a skeptic, or someone who is devoted to their faith, we warmly invite you to join us in any of our activities. We believe in creating an open and inclusive environment where everyone can come together to grow, learn, and support one another. Come and grow with us as we explore the joys of faith, mission, and community together!
